New to the club

Hey guys,

Just picked up my '11 Subaru STI sedan Limited in Plasma Blue.

Could anybody recommend a good exhaust? Also, a good place to make my purchase? I'm liking the Perrin Turboback exhaust btw.

Thanks,

Welcome! You can always look in the classifieds for parts or always buy brand new. Don't forget to wave to Subies!

Don't forget that with a turbo back you will need a stage 2 tune.
I buy all my parts online.

depends on how loud you want it to be. with the sedan you don't really need to worry about drone either. If i had a sedan I would get either SPT, milltek, ARkperformance, or Invidia. I have the milltek on my hatch and i love it. I buy online a lot from BostonMotorsports best prices I have seen and great customer service. If I am getting service done my car only goes to LICmotorsports. good luck and make it out to BAM.

If you are going to mod your engine heavily, you should consider installing all the mods you want at the same time so you only need to pay to get protuned once...

Perrin is kinda infamous for bad fitment.
It's hard to beat Cobb for quality

Welcome! Get come pictures up of the new beauty!

Personally I would go with Cobb, especially if you want to jump straight to a TBE. As said before your TBE will require a STG II tune. You can invest a couple grand and get the entire Cobb STG II set up and be set! You will get great power, good looking and well made parts, along with a great sounding exhaust. Not to loud, mean when you open it up, and no drone on the highway. I wont run anything else.

An old set up i ran that i really liked was a Cobb catted downpipe and a Tanabe Medallion Touring catback, with the Cobb STG II tune.

best of luck!

Will
