new battery, fuel map gone?

I replaced my battery today, and it seems as if my S-squared fuel map is no longer working, as the wrx is quite a bit blander. Did i lose it completely when the ecu reset? Or, is it still lurking in there, waiting for the right trigger? I seem to recall somthing about holding the accellerator down and hitting the defrost...but that could malarkey. Any clues?

You shouldn't have lost the maps, but the ECU might have to do a bit of re-learning, so I'd give it a few days and see how it feels.

Nate@S2 would be the best person to answer that one for you, though. (916) 442-6409

odds are your ecu reverted to the low boost map when you replaced the battery. try to switch boost maps (car turned on but not running, press go pedal all the way down, while pressing go pedal press the defrost button). his reflashes default to the "A" boost map which is low boost.
