Cool New Bad Boy Autocross Car - Palatov

My dad was out at Crows Landing on Saturday and got to see a Palatov D2 run
The car CRUSHED the rest of the autocross field by several seconds.

First time I've heard of one, but jesus

Palatov Motorsport - D2

1900lbs - 500HP

It's an ugly bastard, but goddamn!

You know I usually run faster that that exact car right?

But maybe at crows Joe can really stretch its legs and use the power/weight to his advantage.

Looks like Joe came in 24th overall. Its about where he usually places in that car.

I love how its street legal. Its stupid fast, even with a LS3. Traction can be an issue though lol.

lol yeah. I'd be surprised if Joe dominated the event. He's still getting the hang of that thing.

One morning I made the mistake of asking him where his trailer was. He told me that he just drove the car to the event. On slicks.

Crazy ****.

^ Joe's Palatov is street legal, and Hoosiers are DOT approved. It's not like we have an issue with wet roads right now.

I believe I've seen this car on the road before on a Saturday morning at like 7am when I was on the way to skyline. I spotted it on 24...

Jolt - I'm not sure where you see results... Santa Clara Corvette's hasn't published Saturday to their website yet Event Results
I'm guessing you are looking at Sunday, which was SCCA and I'm betting a much slower course.

My buddy Stu was out there and said Saturday was one of the fastest courses he's ever run. It could be that this little bugger just had an opportunity to get it's legs under it.

considering how fast the car is, it's not that expensive.

for the record, I drove my old CP car from San Jose to Marina on Kumho 710's a couple times

^ Speed wise, Corvette Club was faster. That's pretty much it.
