new addition to the family :D

Hey all,

I just picked up my Baja T on friday.

I got a call from my dealer and SOA called and said that they had to postpone the delivery untill March or April at the soonest mainly due to the color was suspected. The Mystic Blue is extreamly rare. My Salesperson did a search in the entire state of CA and there was only 1 Baja T avaiable and it was on their lot. So I took that one and they are going to excersize it to the way I want it. Just have to wait untill the parts come in, but I can live with that. I ended up with the Black Granite on Charcole. Another black car, but I am up for the chalange again. I love the ride hight and the responsiveness. And it is Sooooooo quiet inside, almost 0 road nosie. I ended up having to let go of a couple of options that I wanted, the trailer hitch and boost gauage, but I will get them later and saved $400 over what was quoted so I am happy.

Just need to wait for the auto dimming mirror, Bed Extender, Air Filtration kit, Dif protector, moonroof (or star roof as my wife calls it) diflector, Hood Diflector (acrylic), and Splash guard kit. But they are suposed to be in on Tuesday .

Over all, my purchas has been extreamly easy, laid back, and unstressed as possible. I recommend Subaru of Santa Cruz to anyone to purchase their subies.

I know that they have had the baja on the lot for a while, I test drove it a month ago and they had it for a month before that. But it only had 50 miles on it, so it is all good.

took some pictures today:

If you really must have Mystic Blue or another color, just ask Subaru of Santa Cruz to order one for you. Unless it's actually a limited edition color, I don't think there will be a problem.

I ordered my WRX exactly the way I wanted it through my local dealer - exterior color, no wing, factory gauges, 5MT, etc. I had to pay MSRP but I didn't consider that unreasonable considering they like to move the cars sitting on the lot, first. I was told the wait would be 8 to 10 weeks but it only took about 6 or 7 weeks, at the time. Just depends how busy the factory is with custom orders at the time, I guess.

Yes that is highway 236. The first 2 pics are up in Big Basin State park. The others are outside my place just off the highway.

I did have them order me a Mystic Blue and it wont be in for a long time. It sounds like that the Mystic Blue Premium package is extreamly rare and a limited edition color. I didn't want to wait another 2 or 3 months to get. So I took the black. I like it just as mutch.

Sorry, No that was not me. I was on the SC side of the hill all weekend.

Not sure what mod's I am going to do, but one of the first will be a strut tower brace and/or grounding kit.
