this dude decided to make a new version of the 510.
Shoot..if it came out and looked like that...I'd consider it.

agreed... pretty damn cool... the front end is slammed a little much for me. I like the pseudo-rally height for an emphasis on sliding and not drifting. It's still my dream car... hands down.
Man, i really like that - I kind of dream of nissan doing that someday, It seems like a marketable car - the sentra is supposed to be our modern 510, but c'mon. I'd buy one for sure if they made something like this.
That does look nice. I can see a bit of the new mustang in the headlights/front end.
I don't like the mustang as a car, but I do like how it looks.
I would also consider this car as I love the older 510's Too bad it's just a dream....

As nice as that is, I can't see Nissan keeping the suspension so low, or the dual exhaust. Man that would be sweet. Make it about the size of an xA and it would be right on the money. Oh man then swap ina VQ35 and six speed from a 350z! I'm sory I'm getting ahead of myself. Build it Nissan!

I can't see nissan every doing it. Bastards. They should though.
And no joke on the aftermarket for that thing. You could go crazy. Imagine an AWD G35 set up under that thing......amazing.
Shoot if you could squeeze the G35 drivetrain in that...would be crazy. With a few mods those things jump up to 300WHP. in a little car..rwd 6 speed.
You have a rediculous after market for them and a huge fan base to sell them to. If the price was right they could sell the crap out of those things.
Make a limited edition one with the wider track, dual exhaust..etc.. mabye call it the SSS. haaaa.
Your thinking too much.
A factory V6 510 won't make sense. The original 510 wasn't a sports coupe and a V6 powered one would be. It needs to be priced to compete with the TC.
Thinking tech-wise, They could use the same FM platform that's under the Altima, Maxima, 350z, and G35. Shorten the wheel base, fit a 1.8l 4 cylinder from the base sentra, and the 2.5l four from the Spec V for the SSS. 5-speed in the base, 6-speed in the SSS. Price the base at 15k and an SSS at 18-19k. I'd buy one. Also the 510 was available as a sedan, wagon, and coupe. Build em all.

Ok man...you ideas sound much more realistic and appropriate..haaa.
I guess I'm a madman..haaa.
The thing is I dont think nissan currently has a platform that is small and light enough to work for this car. If this came out though I'd pop a boner for sure. Thing would be fun as hell to drive!
I would like to correct myself, the Altima and Maxima are not running the FM platorm. They run the FF-L platform.
Either way, I stand by shortening the wheelbase on the FM paltform.
