I don't like the sedan and that commercial sucks.

 

Stupid cartoon commercial. Show the real car with real sounds.

 

I was waiting for Takumi to pass him in one of the turns, hopefully dropping his front tire in the gutter...

 

That commercial reminds me of Space Mountain at Disney Land.... but really, really boring.

 

where is the freaking HP bump. The WRX is too close and as someone mentioned before the 5.0 liter mustang is going to be putting out 400 hp...

Yeah, but how much is that Pony going to weigh?? Sure the new Camero SS has over 400hp but it weighs over 4100lbs! No thanks.

Mustang 5.0 curb weight is 3612.
Dodge challenger srt curb weight is 4179 indeed.

Mustang's power to weight ratio is 8.8.

What is new STI's power to weight ratio?
I do like new look of sti though. Especially, it's rear diffuser - resembles M3's.

 

Early estimates put the new Mustang 5.0 at around 430hp, so they're definitely being sneaky with their official "400hp" claims, but that's not a first for the muscle car wars. Either way I definitely give the nod to the '11 Mustang GT, and I have always been a Chevy guy. It will be fun to see the first batch of dyno graphs of the GT when it's more widespread. Also waiting to see how well it responds to basic upgrades like intake, exhaust, header, and cams, which is where the LS motors have really held the title.

Yah Subaru needs to bump the hp to at least 330hp to at least compete against the 370z and make it stand out a little more against its lesser sibling wrx.

 

Where are you getting this information? I read the door panel on a brand new SS a few months ago and the weight was over 4k lbs.
