F@(&ing neighbor's friends

They park (illegitimately) in the space next to mine, and set off my car alarm tonight while opening the door. I watched from the balcony as he drove off.

I'm pretty obsessive about dings, perhaps too much so. I actually want to sell my car so I don't have to put up with it anymore...

No matter what you drive Kenn, things like this will happen. You might as well NEVER own a car again.

so, on that note, DON'T sell your car. I would have to hurt you...

no, seriously...

I know, it's really lame. And when people do it that hard, well, i know it hurts to look at it, but you MUST realize that it's gonna happen, and happen often. Unfortunately.

All I can say is, if you sell the subie, I'd hope you still stick around here, and come to meets. You're a cool guy.

Hey thanks Gagan, I'm for the most part being melodramatic. But my last car was an old Honda Accord, and I didn't care at all if anything happened to that :P

Maybe I just shouldn't be getting nice new cars

My factory alarm is set "fairly" sensitive, which means it's possible there's no damage. I'm going to check tomorrow when the sun is up, but as these guys are neighbors (and one of them recently bought a WRX as well) I gotta handle this fairly gingerly.

It WOULD be nice if they were on this board, saw this thread, sucked it up, and gave me a call though

Yeah, that would make me feel pretty good...for a while. But in the end, will it accomplish anything? Will doing that bring back my car?

Can ANYTHING I do EVER remove the dent....oh wait.

Yep, I know Troy and Kurt at Dentpro pretty well now, but I ALWAYS forget to ask about the AAA discount :P I might get a chance to that tomorrow.

I think you're right. I need to just take my car into the dirt (mud now) for one day and get a good dose of perspective...hopefully sideways.

Which reminds me, I just d/l BMI's Drift Bible, and I just wish he said something to cover AWD cars!

well, that's cause AWD cars are hard to drift. It's possible, but you can't hold an AWD car sideways nearly forever like a RWD car.

Did you ever install that UP of yours?

come to the installfest today in fairfield (PM Dew-Subaru for directions) and we'll put that bad boy in.

A little brake fluid shower on top of their car will make up for the ding they gave you...
