superglue contains cyanide... yep... it's poisonous. Call the attorney. Now, seeing as you work at Peter Pan BMW, remember... anything that reflects badly on their dealership is bad for business, so you have a lot of leverage right now.

I say get the tard fired, and then sue him in civil court

Dude WTF are you doing? Remember "pay back is a beitch". Here's what you do. Act like you don't even care anymore and laugh it up. (haha, good one guys, you got me you tricksters you). Let it go for about 2 months and make "friends" with the person who did it. One night take him out drinking and get him pretty messed up. Then pay a hooker good money to meet up with you guys and get her to go with your messed up "friend". The last drink you buy him should have a bottle of Visine in it. With enough money (or maybe not if she's psycho like most women) you can get here to super glue particular appendages of you "friend" to places. (i.e. beer full of Visine + your friends junk super glued to his bed = priceless). This is far better than any punishment the cops will give.

HAHAHA Trust me you've got your dealership by the ***** right now. Don't screw it for yourself and work with them but let them know you are serious. Maintain your professionalism as hard as it may be.

Actually, cyanocrylate (super glue's active polymerizer) doesn't contain free cyanide. And, to be honest, probably wouldn't hurt you in the case. In the precense of water (e.g., your pepsi), cyanocrylate polymerizes (hardens) immidetly. It would probably just pass through your system untouched, as your gastric system wouldn't be able to break it down. It probably wouldn't kill you.

Can't do that - he'd have to show actual damages. MAYBE emotional duress, but unlikely.

^^^^^^^^ Exactly, you can get him fired but receiving "damages" requires legitimate proof of said damage.

Absolutely correct about the cyanocrylates. FYI "liquid badages" made by johnson and johnson are essentially the same thing.

He also needs to prove that this person did it. Can you prove who put it in there?

Yeah, that's ****ed up. When I started reading this thread I thought it was going to be about super glue on your pencil or keyboard or something actually funny. But I'd have to agree with A04 and Gotboost on this one.

I am glad that Matt(MCowger) is here to provide you with actual usable advice. Well, you and your girlfriend.

on the other hand, making sure this guy does not reproduce more idiots in to this world, it may benefit us all if you bring him to a private 'car meet' say in the mountains? Then we make sure he drives off the highest, steepest cliff we can get him and his car off.

I am glad you have some self control though, had this happened to me I think I would superglue his ****ing eyes, ears, and nose shut and see how he likes it.

Did he try and superglue your lips to the pepsi or something? That would have been pretty f'ed. Funny if it was a buddy and everyone was drunk. But at work that is BS.

You take him to court nothing is going to happen. Depending on what the guys position is in the company he may get suspended or fired. Hell they may fire both of you if he says you did stuff to him. In any case I hope they back you on this whole thing. If not a new job and a better work environment is what you need.

Another option if you've got any ***** is that you need to stand up like a man and call him out, if you've got proof. If hes bigger than you and you can't fight, I don't know what to say. Can't let people walk over you like this. If the police come you just tell them that he tried to poison you. He may have gotten away with that crap in HS but this is the real world and you need to let him know. At the very least you need to talk it out with the guy and the boss. I'm not a big dude myself but I know how to kick someones ***. If I was in this situation my wife would be bailing me out of jail right now.

STiDevildog: i am a big guy, sort of.... 6' 275

and as far as this whole situation, when i found out who it was and said " thats it, meet me in the back lot ***** and lets finish this ****, i punched out ( illegal if on the clock )and my boss saw us walking out. before i could even get my watch off, my boss fired him. right in front of me. ****. now i cant hit a civilian. i wish he had waited just 30 seconds, cuz thats all i needed. and his defense was the fact that he tried to super glue the lid shut. dumbass, that where my lips go! its not exactly the end to the situation that i wanted ( i.e., cash-ola ) but its a start.
