So I have a iphone 3G and my contract doesn't expire till the end of the year. I've been looking on eBay for a Samsung Captivate and want to pick one up. I just need to know how it works after I get the phone. Could I just buy a used one and bring it to AT&T to have them swap it out with my iPhone? What's the process?
Thanks
Thanks

Does anybody know if the SIM card from a iPhone 3GS will work on a Samsung Captivate? Sorry it may not be the right forum to ask this question but I know a few of you guys work for AT&T wireless.
when i bought my dell streak 5 from best buy, all the BB dude was take the sim card out of my 3G and slapped it into the streak.
one of the things i heard early on when i bought the 3g was people using cheapie phones and putting the 3g sim card into them when doing things like skiing that might ruin the phone.
since it swaps out with no issues, it was a good idea... after all, a $300 phone vs a $59 or so throwaway is a no brainer...
