Need some feedback on hoodies from BAM

Hey guys. I want to bring better gear to you guys every year and I'm working on some other projects.

I'm interested in what you thought about the quality of the zip up hoodies from 2 years ago. I know the ink came out some one dull. I tried to do what's called dye sublimation. Didn't work like we hoped. And I know the zipper SUCK when they're brand new.

Other than that... what did you guys think... would you want zip ups again?

I got one in grey (and black lol) and it is still great. It hasn't shrunk and the zipper still works really well

I did not purchase either sweaters, however I do like the ones from this year. The pullover hoodies looked super nice and comfortable.

I'm wearing one right now. They're really thick.. 10oz. And some of my favorite hoodies. A lot of my old BAM hoodies ended up going to my wife because they shrank so much or the necks would tear.

So far so good with this year and last years pull overs. Super warm.

The zip ups were thinner. Same manufacturer though.

And Glenn... I have your hoody. I'll hand deliver it with the other hoody when it comes in... and buy you a beer.

I bought a pullover last year and it is very comfy. The only minor issue is I'm practically swimming in it since the smallest size was medium and I am tiny. .but that doesn't stop me from wearing it and I love it still!
Keep up the great work!

Just be sure to preorder next year. Only way to guarantee a small. We did a half dozen of them I think. I know my wife got one. LOL!

Not sure what swag we'll do next year. I always do shirts/hoodies and then one special item for the volunteers and vendors. The work shirts came out sick this year. So we have zip up hoodies, work shirts, hats, all on my radar for next years volunteers and vendors.

and anyone that's waiting for stuff... I was at the printers earlier this week. I should have everything next week. I'll need addresses and payments next week or you can meet me in fremont or something.

I'll send some swag ideas your way via email within the next month. I'm thinking you and I can collab on something (and maybe Huck if he has time).

I usually hate pullover hoodies, but I really like the ones from this year. The fit is spot on for me.

Keep me posted man. I'm always open to it.

And definitely keep me in mind on that other project we were talking about. I'm looking at doing some big things in the next 12 months. Step my game up. Time for people to know my name.

We'll be starting up planning probably first of the year. I'll probably start laying down ideas for design work over the holidays. So keep me posted. I'm definitely down for a colab and for some different swag ideas.

I was gonna do shop rags this year but we ran out of time.

Figure year 13 was red... year 14 can be blue.

oops.

I actually preordered last year (through Sakai530's Paypal) and also showed my car, but I could have sworn that the post said hoodies medium, large, XL, etc. I could be mistaken but I definitely would have ordered a small. I probably should have asked beforehand anyways >.< . . It's not that big of a deal though

Can't wait for 2014!

I wouldn't put it past me. LOL!

But I generally try to make designs that are essentially designed to look good on a size large... fit on a small and not look puny on an XXL. Anything for kids sizes is a second screen and costs more. Anything larger I'd have to do a second screen and that costs more.

But S-XXXL Hoodies will be available and S-5X shirts are available. Design just looks a little small on those larger sizes because I'm not gonna pay out another screen charge for 3-5 pieces.

So get a small next year! Oh... and keep and eye out on the thread I've got for the swag re-order... whatever I have left over will go on sale in that thread and i may or may not have another small.

I'm looking forward to next year as well. We'll have a different organization structure and we'll make some improvements. Better and better. I want to raise $10k next year so I'll be hitting the vendors hard for raffle prizes.

LOL!
