yup

Yeah 02 tranny;s are glass. I blew my 02 tranny and loving my ra gears. I;d say go with an 04+ gears if you cant afford the Ra's/ Supposedly stronger than the 02's and the same width as Ra gears?

Rev matching. Where when you downshift, you blip the throttle as you downshift so that there is no clutch drag when you pop into the lower gear. Makes for quick and smooth downshifts.

The 2002 wrx tranny is not glass. I occasionally dropped the clutch and banged gears in my old wagon with no issues until 65K miles when I sold it.

Sounds like bad shifting technique or defective parts to me

i bought my car used along time ago ... and i dont know how the previous owner drove the car cause i bought it from a dealer. but when the first tranny blew it was roughly around 75k give or take. then my second tranny that i bought for $200 bucks had about 80k on it and seen some track days... so im not to suprised about the tranny going. As far as bad shifting i hard dump the clutch i normally rev match. but last week ... which i previously stated in one of my posted that i was showing my friend the difference between match reving / double clutching / and regular down shifting ... i think thats when i probley cracked something in my tranny. Also as I recall I remember when I just regularly down shifted to show my friend my i believe i heard my tranny make a loud clunk noise. so i think thats when somthing broke.

I was just joking about the mispronunciation. Thanks for the shifting 101 lesson
