Need my suspension balanced, where?

Lets say I got new coilovers - the tension on the springs is not even - there is slack on one side and the other is at tension.

Who can adjust these for me in the bay area?

First of all, that sounds like something more than just out of adjustment, but assuming the right parts are installed correctly, to do it right, you want a place that can do "corner weighing", so that the load on each wheel is tweaked correctly.

Most race shops are set up for that, not sure which, if any- of the subie shops are though.

Just a little FYI...

As with any coilover you need to adjust the ride height for each individual car...some places just slap them (coilover's) into place and dont do this crucial adjustment. We do it over here but you will want to have the car re-aligned as with any suspension alteration.

If you want the car corner weighted then I would have to assume you will be tracking your car, otherwise you dont need this FINE tuning adjustment.

Did you have the car aligned after you had them installed?

Custom Alignment in Mountain View (South Bay/Peninsula) can adjust, align and corner balance. They are one of the best and their prices reflect that (they are a tad expensive).

i'd try auto innovations in milpitas, they do alignments for subarus all day long

great prices as well, make sure you mention you are from i-club, I think they give you a slight break if you are.

02BlackWRX is right....

I have also had an alignment at Auto innovations and highly recommend them for alignments. They do a good job and for a great price. I do not know if they will corner weight coilovers though. Call and ask them to see if they can do what you'd like.

+1 for Auto Innovations. They friggin' rock! I drive all the way out there from Antioch as well and they are worth every mile of that drive.

auto innovations doesnt do corner balancing. they can adjust and allign your car though. I'd be sure to double check the adjustments they make though and make sure they put all the bolts back on. Last time i had an allignment there they forgot to put 2 of the 4 allen screws that secure the rear camber plate.
