Need a little Bay Area advice.

i agree with former poster about living close to the campus. there are some quasi-ghetto areas between the water and campus (kind of border of berkeley and oakland) where rent isnt that bad. the closer you get to berkeley the more $$$ you will spend.

well worth it to live closer to campus.

davis is pretty tight too. i lived there and graduated from UCD and was stoked on the town.

one thing to consider... if she gets berkeley, you're entitled to many mods for your car.
