Question Need help with this utec I just bought.

Just wondering if anyone has the ability to help me download a stage 4 map onto my utec. I do not have the software and turboxs only has the update on their website. Anything will help. I just need the base map downloaded to the utec so I can drive the car to get it tuned.
If someone has the software for sale I am willing to pay for it too. Call me up if you can help, I stay in s.f. 415-216-5801

There is no software, u just use that communicator stuff that comes with windows.

I dont remember what settings u use though b/c its been a while since I used a UTEC.

if u play with the settings on that program u will eventually get it though.

Yeah, just like Zoeb said. You need a laptop that runs windows and that has hyperterminal (they all do) and a serial connection i believe. Use hyperterminal to link up to the utec, and have the map ready on the laptop to upload to the UTEC.

all the directions and instrucitons should be on the TurboXS website.

here's the link to the download page

Everything you need to know is in the utec user manual on that link. You need to create a hyperterminal connection to your computer through a serial port. I can walk you through it tomorrow on the phone if you want... just send me a PM with your number and a time to call.

goodluck,

Ash:banana: Stage four rocks BTW
