Hey Patrick my family has a garage in Bel Marin Keys and we've got jack stands, jacks and tools there. I'd be more than happy to help you out if you want, and you are just down the road too!

Instead of jacks, why not buy some ramps? Just backup your car onto them.

I used ramps to change the exhaust on my Accord. The ramps I used are made by Blitz and are available at Kragens or Wal-Mart. The ramps are really strong and sturdy (pic of a Suburban using them on the tag). I believe they are only around $20!

GR8-WRX,

Not a bad idea, especially for that price. Ill look into it.

Richard,

That would be awsome. I had a friend come over last night with 2 jack stands and we got the car up....kinda, not very high but anyway. There is a big problem. Looks like this catback is actually for a WRX. Its made for the JDM GC8 WRX but the flange that should bolt to the downpipe is too big and one of the hangers is about an inch off from the one on the car. I can probably make the hanger work, but the flange will not bolt up. Im going to have to go to a muffler shop, have them chop my cat, shorten it and put a bigger 3" flange on it so it will bolt up no prob. Or, alternately, I could just do the engine swap, so it would bolt perfectly to the downpipe....if only i had enough money. Anyway, I'll keep u guys imformed. When I get home from school, Ill post some pics of it, the axle back is on the car, so I you can see what its gonna look like. Oh yeah, its the Trust DD catback, just so everyone knows who didnt already.

Patrick

PS- Richard, when I get my replacement rim(should be tomorrow) we should go hit up the Fairfax-Balinas road. Have you evern been on it? If not, its awsome...goes up Mt Tam and out to Stinson Beach. So heres my cell# 831-229-9064. Ill be home around 7 or so, What lip and valances did u order? I wanna see that sh!+ for sure.

I'd love to do the drive tomorrow but i'm leaving for tahoe right after work around 2 PM. When I get back lets definitely do it though, and if you still need help let me know.

I got the Solberg (V-Limited) Lip and the JDM Rear Valences. It completely changed the car. I can't wait to get my rims when the rain stops, the 17s look tiny now. Plus the BBSs i want look sick on my car. I'll call you when i get back from tahoe and we'll plan something.
