pm skullkid he has one as long as the plugs fit you should be ok, if not you need the Transmission Control Unit from the donor car, but I believe the GC series all have the same computer.

I know this is a no-brainer but hows the fluid level look? with an auto tranny it takes the most pressure to switch into reverse, so if your fluid is low sometimes its the first one not to shift.

If the fluid is fine then its probably the pump. An automatic shifts by building pressure1-4 and then reverse, this is why when the pump starts going out the first way you know is it takes a while for it to engage reverse or when your on the freeway you really have to rev to get it into 4th. For now if you need to get it in reverse try this, put it in reverse, keep your foot on the brakes and rev the motor up, if its a pump going out it hopefully will CLUNK into gear when you build up enough pressure, not a permanent fix but will help you get it out of the driveway lol

As for the 4EAT, they been pretty much the same since the begining of time, I dont even think they changed the axles around really, but yeah you might want to check on 25RS.com for more info since theres more GC info there, g'luck!

Thanks guys. I tried reving it to 4g no rev. I'm thinking it's the pump I had read that the 2nd gen 4eat will not work without rewiring the car hope to find one soon this girl wants her suby

yeah check the classifieds on rs25.com, people are doing 5mt swaps and dumping perfectly good 4eats all the time for pretty much "get it out of my garage" prices
