Need Fender Rolling Recommendations

I just spent the last hour reading through the threads that came up from my search...but most of the threads were at least a year old...so I wanted to start a new one.

Do you guys have any shops or people to recommend to get my REAR fenders rolled? I was thinking about renting from Salaki (www.rollyourfender.com) but the rental fee + shipping will be over $100.

I'm really hesitant to try the baseball bat or hammer method...and I have a rotary tool (like dremel) but not sure if cutting the lip is the best route either. Feel free to argue against this as I'm open to opinions and ideas.

Here are some of the shop recommendations I've got:

http://www.autornd.com (quoted me $100)
http://www.dynospotracing.com (still need to call)
http://www.speedmerchant.com (still need to call)
http://www.xperformance.com (waiting to hear back)
http://licmotorsports.com/ (too far and too $$$)

Thanks!

He was running Black racing 17x9s and 245/45/17 615s

I think he does it by a baseball bat or wooden spoon and doesn't guarantee paint won't crack, i'd highly discourage from going some place that wouldn't stand behind their work.

LIC's wheel machine connects to the hubs and they heat the fender and slowly roll the lip. This is probably the most competent way I have ever seen done. It costs a few bucks more.

Yeah, the 'wheel machine' is the same thing as what Salaki rents out at www.rollyourfender.com. I just can't justify renting it through him 'cause it's $50 to rent and then another $51 just to ship it here and back.

Also, most of the places listed above should be using the heat gun/rolling tool method so it's not just LIC that does it. The reason I don't know if LIC will work out for me is the drive! I know they charge $60/corner which is probably the highest price around...but then I would have to spend another $30 in gas just getting there and back...with the gas prices these days, sheesh!

Josh at AutoRnd can get it done really good. Pretty much just a heat gun and fender roller is all that is used. He did his 350z.

Find some other members that want to roll their fenders and set up a meet and share the cost.

Disregarding your unwarranted and lame slam toward Gino/GB, I also recommend not going to any place that doesn't stand by their work. Trust me, it leaves you very sad every time you see your car, which for me is quite often.

Incidentally, I have watched someone perform this task with a baseball bat on his own '95 RX-7 and it came out flawless to my eye. Regardless of the method, it takes time and patience.

Personally if I were going to go down this route again, I would check out LIC and their cool fender roller. It would be wise of course to check out a couple cars they have done first, but I would assume they would do a good job based on their reputation. Alternatively I would also consider renting the machine and doing it myself. After watching it done, I would totally attempt this.

x-performance did mine did a decent job for $100
just know if the paint is not heated up and the rolling is rushed the paint will chip.
the rolling needs to be done in degree steps dont just fold it all the way the first roll it will chip the paint bad.
the tool is $300 and then get a heatgun to warm the paint and your in business.
i think the tire rack still rents the tool also.
