Need EcutecK tuner in bay area

Who tunes EcutecK besides GST

I need to get some car work done. They seem to be too busy right now.

Any other shops? I've called a few, but GST seems to be the only one.

Shiv at Vishnu

Regardless of the popularity of the guy, at the end of the day, he's still a very good tuner who knows what the heck he's doing.

I'm very picky on who works on my car. I do 90% of all my work but since moving out here I dont have my tools yet. After talking with mike a few times. I happy to have him work on my car and not even worry about it.

That's what I thought too, cuz he tuned my car and it wasn't detonating or anything so it seemed good to me. Then a tuner down in So Cal showed me how much junk his tune was. I've had really bad luck with Nor Cal tuners .

But now my car is running strong with a new tune and even after a few weeks, I get a huge grin every time I WOT. :RockOn - not mine:

If anyone ever needs a ECUTek tune down in So Cal, Ed Dowell is the man.

Not a fan of a company that uses a calling service to screen out calls... sounds shady to me.

Maybe your tune was an old one when Mike was still learning?

if u want a real good tuner, the guy (his name is Shinnagori or something like that) from Zerosports in Japan comes over to AutoHQ a few times a year to tune cars.

I've heard only amazing things about that guy. Also I heard he charges quite a bit, but it's worth every penny.

if u don't have ecutek license he charges $1500 But it's 3 days of tuning, on-road and on a dyno. If u have the ecutek license, I think it's still $1k

I don't remember what Kevin said because $1500 is a little too much for my stage 2 suby, but I think he is coming in September.
