In need of a die grinder and compressor

So i took my intake manifold off to re-paint it and noticed the motor in my tgv has gone out (flap stuck open). figure its a good time to do tgv deletes..

Soo I'm in need of a die grinder and compressor.. harbor freight has die grinders for around 20 bucks, its really the compressor i need. does anyone know of a rental? maybe someone has one and would be willing to let me borrow it for a day? trade for beer, lunch, 420.. whatever lol

Nothing other than buying burgers and soda would be fine w/ me but be warned, Brentwood's a bit far for me to loan mine out, but if you like you can bring it here and I'll let you use the tools. (Close to Fremont)

FWIW I just picked up an old Craftsman Compressor via CL for $150.

Husky 60 Gallon Compressor w/ Accessories

Tried that yet? If not IIRC Home - Bailey Rentals & Hardware Inc. used to rent stuff out to contractors.

If you are getting serious about home auto mechanics than I would recommend you invest in a decent air compressor. A compressor is like the heart of a garage. I have never tried one but they do make electric die grinders, not sure how well they work though. Like people above have said, if you where closer you could borrow mine. Check the yellow pages for a tool rental place, I am sure there has to be on in your area.
