Need clutch advice

Hey whats up everyone? I never thought I'd be having to do my subaru research again but again here I am! Well You bay area members have always helped me out, I was wondering my clutch seems to be on its last few months so sooner or later I'm going to have to purchase a new clutch and was looking at several choices, Act I hear good things about but kinda pricey for myself =( then theres excedy, and spec(which is the better choice in my price range) which would u recomend for my set up which basically is a vishnu stage 2 excedy sti tmic.... Dyno jet about 290 - 295 whp.... And whats the stock oem wrx clutch, and is it availiable anywhere besides the dealership ahahahah??

Thanx!!

I've been considering getting a Spec clutch for when I get my swap. My friend has a ACT and says its pretty stiff and his knee gets sore sometimes from it. Anyone else here have experience with Spec clutches for RS or WRX. Spec stage 1 is rated at 410lbs torque for the WRX and 302lbs torque for the RS. If Spec has a more comfortable pressure plate than ACT I'll probably go with that. I'll see about calling them up this week to get some more info.

Keep in mind that your transmission might wear out as well with a racing clutch, might want to replace the gearset too if you have the means
