Need to buy new things to make car feel better

I need to buy an air/fuel management, and a new boost controller. Any advice on a fairly decent products? I'm looking at the Apex s-afc or the HKS s-afr. Does anyone have any experiences with either one? Is there any MBC's that does not have any boost spike? Or very minimal boost spike? Anyone know of a cheap electronic boost controller? Thanks guys

mbc bad.
ecu reflash good.

check out S-Squared in Sacramento. They'll give you a custom ECU reflash tuned precisely on their in house dyno. Your car will be faster and still reliable then.

I have to agree with sonic....you said you wanted to make your car feel better...not poorly tuned.

And an EBC and an AFC will be nearing the price of a reflash (~$600).

im tellin you save up for the utec and get a good price on a used one!!!
they are the best, when you get a reflash you need to pay every time you rereflash it, whereas with the utec you can just download preset maps and tweak them
just my .02

Not to be a dick, but if this guy hasn't done the research to realize that an EBC and an AFC aren't the optimal way to "toon" your WRX, he certainly isn't up for a UTEC.

this is very true. not only do you spend close to $600 for the EBC and AFC, but you have to install it, tune it, and keep tuning it. The WRX ecu doesn't respond well to piggyback tuning.

with a reflash, you'll get a tuned setup that's practically invisible to anyone but the driver.

you don't have to "learn" how to tune it... just reflash and go.
