Need a battery

I need an optima red or yellow top battery that actually fits in my wrx.

I'm going to take my ghetto fabulous rig out of the subaru and put the battery in my cadillac.

Anyone know where I can get one for a decent deal.

anyone off hand have the part numbers for the ones that actually fit...no modification.

Last time I got the one that doesn't fit...boooo. I think it's the 35R that fits in red top?

That's because you didn't call Optima 888-8OPTIMA, and have them look for a battery code for you.

If you had, they would have told you to simply order up a group 35 (like the one in my car), and the polarity is automatically reversed to fit the Subarus.

funny.....my red top in my car right now is an ordered group 35 and it did not automatically come reversed. had it come reversed I would not have it installed sideways in my car....hense me getting a new battery and using said current battery in my caddy.

My odyssey is on it's way.

Dry cell.

lighter than redtop, can also be used for deep cycle (not just starting).

I'll post a review when it gets here.

You would need a 35R to get it with the reversed terminals, and that model doesn't appear to be offered from them

surprised to hear anyone call it's reversal- "automatic" it has to be a different model.
