I have the low profile jack from Costco, $90 I think. Instructions (with most jacks) say to bleed the air out of the oiled system before use. Costco return policy ftw as well.

I have a 1/2 drive Craftsman cordless electric impact and it's an impressive tool.

Makita makes a nice combo.

Amazon.com: Makita LCT200W 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 2-Piece Combo Kit: Home Improvement Amazon.com: Makita LCT200W 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 2-Piece Combo Kit: Home Improvement

Whatever jack you buy, can't go wrong with craftsman 4 ton jack stands.

This is the one I have, and while I don't have anything to compare it to, I have yet to find something that it won't break loose. Besides strut bolts. But it still got a couple of them, just not all of them.

I hope you're not using that as shown in the advertisement.

You need to be using a torque stick.

I keep hearing that it's bad to remove lugs with an impact.

I do it all the time (but tighten with torque wrench). What danger will befall me?

Makita impacts are a beast. My 12v has been going for over 10 years now with nearly daily use, while my Snapon 18v died after just 3 years.

As far as my floor jack and stands, I have the Costco ones and they've worked fine for years.

Impact driver for bits and adapters. Impact wrench =1/4, 3/8, 1/2 drive ( for sockets)
