National Night Out is tonight, anyone doing anything?

Tons of block parties going on in my neighborhood, good food, good people, and you get to meet your neighbors. I think it's a great idea to have a night dedicated to this...

Is anyone doing anything tonight? My wife and I are going to the 13th street area block party over by Naglee park in down town San Jose... My sister is hosting the event... It's going to be like a mini Mt Hammy/BAM only without subies, vendors, and cool scenery... Ok, the only similarity is a lot of people and BBQ,

Are you guys going out tonight?

Mmmm, that sounds good, all you need now is some authentic German Roggenbrot bread and maybe some sour kraut... Mmmmmmm.

(i'm sure you remember the kick *** bread from Germany, especially the AMAZING roggenbrot and those huge *** pretzels which are unique to Germany... We try to copy them here in the USA but they don't hold a candle to the real ones in Germany)

I'm being 100% honest when I tell you this, but keep in mind I was like 10...

When we first came to America my American Aunt made us a welcome to the USA dinner when we arrived... Consisting of store bought American-French bread (like the crappy stuff they sell at Alberstons) and after dinner we were given Hershey's chocolate bars... I thought that all American bread and chocolate were going to taste like that for the rest of my life and I started to cry.

Comparing German bread to American store bought french bread (Safeway makes ok french bread, NOT Lucky's/Albersons) and German chocolate to crappy *** Hershey's is one sad thing to compare, and I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about.

Kinder and Milka chocolate FOR LIFE!!!

Top gear, season 15, episode 15 is one HELL of an episode! The Veyron SS blew my friggin mind! So did that amazing Toureg (the full rally spec one), and that end tribute to Senna was quite touching. What episode are you watching, Josh?
