i had a great weekend. i was breaking in a completely new car so i wasn't going as fast as i wanted to considering everything is pretty new and still tight (tranny engine etc). that said it was awesome to get back on track since the last time i drove on a big track was oct (not counting outdoor karting).

i led the spec miata race for a couple laps... that was an interesting experience because everything went quiet. there was nothing in front of me, just open track. it was actually quite relaxing.
some fast guys came hauling through the field and i didn't put up much of a fight (or at least as much of a fight as I would have wished to give). i stayed in 4th for the remainder of the race. i was holding up a train of about four cars. i had to hold them off for several laps... i felt like they might have had power but i used all the tricks I knew to keep them back there till the finish line.
good job this wkend blurr.

i had the best time of my life this weekend driving on the track. i had an amazing instructor who is probably one of the most positive people i ever met. great guy, great teaching.
i want to thank the LIC team for introducing me to this whole thing and for working on my car so that i can do this. kevin, former LIC and david from LIC even helped troubleshoot a check engine light in the car. everyone out there was just awesome people.
i am sorry to hear the LIC and GST had engine problems, but i am sure will see you again on the track. love your cars as usual.
