It's not easy driving in the rain (all of Saturday) and when the track is dry in some spots and wet in others (first half of today) it is possibly more treacherous. That said, there is great value in experiencing wet track conditions.
I drove today and can attest to the treacherous nature of the track in combined wet/dry conditions. At the entry to T8, the rut in the road near the entry berm yanked on my wheel pretty forcefully and the car became pretty unstable. SP is not an easy track- it is a pro race track meant for spectators, hence the amount of walls in close proximity to the pavement.

I am glad the drivers of the two crashed WRX's are physically safe. Among yesterday's 4 wrecks, I heard one driver was pretty severely lacerated by his harness.

Glad the drivers are okay. Sorry I had to bail during your session... I was late for an appointment. In any case, here you.

Jansen, where you there today? I didn't see you
nope, i didn't make it there on sunday. i was too tired, and when i woke up the sun was out. so i decided not to go. if it was raining, it would've been a different story. so, where's the pics daios? it'll take me a couple days for mines since i gotta finish editing the autox from last week LOL.

i got one snap shot of the GT3 from sat in the parking lot. the front was just dirty, but the rear was pretty banged up. i agree that a wet/dry track is more challenging since it's probably harder to judge which parts are wet/dry.

Heres my pics... they are mainly pics of my friends cars though and couple subarus and some other stuff. I'm too lazy to sort it out and edit so I just did a batch resize and uploaded. I'm still practicing my panning technique.

Martin, I had no idea you were sirhankwilliams on here, either I completely forgot or I don't pay attention too well

Daios: looks like you got a few pics of us, cool. I brought my FXT at the last minute, Noah was in the silver WRX wagon, our buddy Wes in the black WRX, both their first time driving on track and Kevin did one session in his Outback XT. He stopped after that because it would roll over so far it became a little sketchy.

It was a great day! I was tempted to go back to the shop and bring back the RS, but there wasn't enough time, but the FXT did quite well.
