thanks gus! since it was so cloudy that day, i could not get a very fast shutter speed off and they turned out kind of grainy due to having to shoot at 800 iso to get an shutter speed around 1/250th of a second @ f/5.6

I was there, working though. Too bad I wasn't able to meet up with many of you guys there. Are any of you guys going to Thunder Hill????? I saw and chatted with a few Suby drivers out there, see you guys around. More pics please..............

on my way back from chico today i stopped at thunder hill as i saw a bunch of porsches at a gas station, asked one of the drivers and there was a porsche race at the track.

i was using a new lens (tamron 28-200), i could not pan with the car (i wish) i have a $20 dollar qauntaray tripod that i am using right now, and the head is a POS and could barely hold the lens :/. anyways i was at 1/250th, f/5.6, iso 800. the lighting conditions sucked (cloudy, then all of a sudden sunny) on top of that it was windy and it was really blowing on the grand stands above turn 2/3.
