Angry Nail in my S03!!!!!!!

Damn! Just saw a nail in my front passenger side SO3...........................didn't take it out yet......wondering what i should do..... I don't feel like replacing all 4 yet, since there are still like 50% thread........
Should I fix it with those crappy tire fix kit or patch it at kragen? What would you guys do?


I was thinking about going to the track on Nov11 too.........damn!!!

About how much will it cost to patch it?

it is still gonna be safe on a track? should I switch it to the rear or something?

It shouldn't cost more than $10-20 to patch. I wouldn't track them though.

i've used the do-it-yourself patch kits, and i'm pretty sure it can handle a track day or two.

Where is the nail positioned in the tire? Middle of tread? Near the sidewall?

Where is america's tire? (BTW i live in SF)

I just ask kragen and they are charging me $45 for the patch!...........

Anywhere else I can go? sears?

Big O does it for free most of the time as well. Otherwise, I believe its $5-10 for one tire.

Personally, I would never trust Big O, they have screwed up on my stuff too many times

and yeah..i've heard bad things about big o as well...

Big O is no good. America's Tire is good, and I've had satisfactory experience with Wheel Works.
