or he is a victim of stereotyping, if he only gets pulled over based on his looks, NOT what he is doing....thats not cool. A police officer has to have just cause to pull you over especially if he tries to search you.....he cant pull you over because he doesnt like how you are dressed, your haircut, or your looks. Unless you look like someone they are searching for, like an escaped murderer or something.
I dunno...plus there are such things as cops that abuse their power. Not saying ALL cops are bad...but they are out there.

Posting this on a Subaru message board is pointless... If you have a problem with the police, go to the city who pulled you over and file a complaint... That gets you a lot further than whining...

i dont mind that much cuz half the time i have nothing better to do but hassle the po-po's.
and i did meet one cool cop before.. i was at a park blazin and he asked if there was any doobage. this was about 5 minutes after we smoked a cuban blunt stuffed with 8 grams. we were like uhh... ya.. he just said dont worry about it just do it in another city. he even said he smoked more weed than us when he was younger. i seriously doubt that he did but i wasnt gonna argue. his five o buddy was just standing there lookin like a dork. he had his hands in his pockets and was fidgiting around trying to look cool. no way he was as awesome as the stoner cop tho. :banana:

its seems to me like people who smoke pot have a much better understanding in life, I mean you allways have the ediots who think life is a tree and thats all they do is smoke pot, but then you got the people who are loyal to life and just as loyal to pot, and when you meet them as parents down the road there allways the cool ones who are sucessfull in life, this is why pot does not bother me, now other drugs can have total oposite effects on people, but Pot, its so damn wonderful, no matter how fock'ed up your day has been you can allways look forward to your friend at home or in the trunk of your car, BTW im really stoned right now

copsmaybe you need to read up on some ACLU documents and other CIVIL LIBERTIES info.
remember, you still have rights.
if you or your parents have a lawyer on retainer or have one as a friend, have their phone # on your cell phone's speed dial.
treat them with respect. no need to smart-mouth to them. follow their instructions. ask them why they stopped you. ask them if they probable cause to stop you.
think smart, not like a dummy.
document everything. even if you have to keep a pad of paper and pencil with you. document while they search your car.
if it sounds like RACIAL profiling, or AGE'ism, this needs to stop. the police cant start to push citizens without reason.

an undercover police officer pulled a gun on my buddy yesterday... he didnt want to pull over right away as the car was unmarked and drove to an area with lots of people... cop came up to the car with the gun pointing at his head!!! I woulda been pissed if a cop drew his gun on me, that is uncalled for, especially since "tailgating" was the offence
