If you think the Evo is lacking in the utility department, then the 135i should be wAAAAAY out of this equation. If I was in the market, it'd have to be a white STi too. Good luck Leo!

Capitol
Now I know some of you are fans of Capitol, but I have to say it. I recently detailed a nice Forester and the owner briefly mentioned that Capitol was crappy. I was shock and surprised, but figure maybe just random. When I was there test driving the STi, the salesperson Michael/Mike kept on talking **** about the Evo (I haven't decided between the Evo X or the STi at that point). And yet, he couldn't even tell me what the curb weight of the car was. He is one of those hyper energetic guy and thinks STi owns the world. Yes, STi is a great car, but doesn't own the world, sorry. There are better cars out there, even at the same price range. Then on my second visit, I wanted to talk to the sales manager Ron because I was refer to him by Oakland. Ron was actually an okay guy I think, but was not willing to do the deal and play the same game as Diablo, supply and demand. And at the same time, the same damn sales guy Michael came up and started **** talk. I told Ron I am only interested in the deal. If no deal, thanks for your time, goodbye, and I walked out. Then Micheal had to follow me out just to argue that I can't get anything else at this price and blah blah blah, which is completely BS. And with this one, I actually walked away pissed off. Even the old Stevens Creek hasn't done that to me. Ridicules!

thanks Brian! reason for evening considering a 135i is because of the deal... If I can't get the deal I want with the STi, I rather take that money and buy something nicer. I need cargo space, but not that much. My RS trunk was more than enough for my needs. and back seats didn't fold down. But if you've seen the evo trunk you'll know what I am talking about.
I just need enough trunk space when I haul my detail stuff with me.
we'll see how things go... I'll just drive my bimmer for now and can pull my second car back if I want to. Plus, Devin said 135i is gay...

Believe me, I am VERY upset after I left Capitol yesterday. South Coast does have a blue STi (according to their web inventory), and south west is $49 one way...

But, that 135i is hot and you can mod the crap out of it and not raise a CHP eyebrow.
hey Leo,
i think your best bet on getting an sti would be to get the one from Livermore...
i doubt if any other dealership will give you that deal, so just hop on it before someone else does.
good luck

Yes, Stephen along with Jeff and their manager Kay are great people. They were just chatting it up with us even they know there won't be a sales that day. I would definitely go back if I were to pickup a suby in the future.Leo

Do yourself a favor and contact Jenn or Heather in internet sales. They'll quote you over the phone and even hold the car for you if you're serious. They don't play games and they, unlike Capitol, actually seem to want to SELL cars.
