Aw man, I feared this day. The day when idiots start stealing our badges. On my old Integra, I've had both Acura emblems jacked from my car at the BART station. Everyday when I come home from school, I look at the back and the front of my car to make sure my Subaru badges are still there.

I'm trying to imagine a rapper type with a Subaru badge on a big gold chain around his neck.

I'm sure there's some ricer high school kids who think they're cool with a stolen Subaru badge plastered on their binders.

sorry to hear about what happened man . . . i know how it feels to get your car vandalized ! i hope you catch those punks. you should put one of the fake cameras you buy at novelty stores (spencers) so those punks think twice about if they wanna mess with your car !

I solved this problem by stealing my own badges and stuffing them in a drawer.

We took the Subaru badge off the back of a '92 Turbo Legacy at my work and made it into a necklace. It was lovely.

I would stay away from flashy pink badges, because people will be even more attracted to it if it's a bright color. Also, if the badge is really, really glued on, and someone tries to steal it, you run the risk of them breaking your grill. Bad news.

It gets really, really, really, really foggy where I live, and there a bunch of punk kids who enjoy vandalizing other peoples' property. So the Friday before last was one of those incredibly foggy days, and the little jerks decided to throw a watermelon at my next door neighbor's BMW, and were about to throw one at my roommate's car, but luckily my neighbor ran out and scared them off before they could do any more damage. I'm so glad I wasn't home when that happened.

Also, the people that lived in my house before me had a Ford Explorer. One night some kids decided to stick a gasoline soaked rag in the gas tank, and just as they were about to light it, the neighbor ran outside.

It's scary what some people will do for entertainment. I dread the day something bad happens to my car.
