When you compile a list of what got damaged split it out to piece by piece.
Example... your tool box right there... when you file it file every piece at it's separate purchase price... full price. Not the kit price. Not the sale price.
I really hope they cover the car man. I know with my insurance everything is covered on my property. You steal my lap top out of my car it's covered. You steal my wheels... covered. But with what you're saying I'm going to call my insurance company and get some clarification on situations like this.
Best of luck.

It is with AAA, I researched multiple sites and came up with that Homeowners insurance will not cover a car lost in a housefire. Your auto insurance would need to have comprehensive coverage to cover your loss. Otherwise, you are not insured for the loss, Homeowners insurance covers the home and household contents, not autos. I would highly encourage everybody to check with their insurance companies to make sure that is the case with your insurance provider as well.

I would call AAA and talk to MORE than one person. Talk to as many supervisors and higher end people you can.
I would get the answer straight from them instead of solely based off what you've read online.
Really crappy situation and I hope it all gets sorted out for ya

I know a few AAA employees personally and there really isn't much they (AAA) can do, I'll take this as a expensive lesson to always put full coverage on all my cars unless it's a real pos.
