actually this is a 2 headed sword.
i remember case where a man spent thousands trying to get a out of a silly $200 (or some small amount compared to his lawyer fees) speeding/traffic fine.
he eventually won. his argument? the cop car that stopped him wasnt painted correctly in the scheme that would identify a car from a cop car...
