My new project.

Well since I am down in Arizona I started to build one.

My 1st build from a stripped lower receiver I bought a month or two back.

What really sucks is you cant get any upper receivers anywhere. I walked into about every store over the last two days.... Nothing..

Guess I'll have to order something. 98% of whats online is out of stock too.

Anyone recomend place..

I tried www.midwayusa.com
U.S. Auto in scottsdale only had used colt uppers.. But that place is off the hook. MP5's , Real M-16's in stock..

Nice! Its a fun rifle when you finally finish it... lol

I have two complete AR-15s, both are setup as M4s with some variations.

I've been wanting to get a new upper set up for long distance targets... a 24" varmint setup but like you said, getting an upper is a pain in the *** right now. Bleh!

Good luck with that rifle.

I would suggest getting an AK-47 as well as an M1A next time you have some cash... I have all three types of rifles and I LOOOOOVE my M1A over all rifles, and the AK is tied with the AR. Both rifles have their strong points which is why they are both tied.

My M1A is the SOCOM II model, AKA the tactical carbine version with front rail. Here's a picture of mine:

You can see one of my AR-15s in the picture. You have no idea how much fun that M1A is to shoot... especially with that 30 round magazine! I am a sucker for .308.

Very nice pieces you have there.

I think I'll get the .223 finished and pick up something else to play with. Putting that togther being my 1st time, was alot of fun. No scratches ......lol Those roll pins are a ***** without the right tools..

I saw a .50 set up at U.S. Auto I think I want next. That was a sweet rig.

As far as the AK.. Yeah I have owned a few over the years, SKS's and even still have some other stuff. But this is my first scratch build.

Its nice having a home in AZ too. I can keep the Non-California friendly stuff there. And parts are easier to get here in AZ too.
Scottsdale gun club last time I checked, for your birthday if your a member will let you shoot any machine gun in house for free that day. You buy the ammo.....

Maybe this summer we should have a i-club shoot meet.
