Am I the only person that is bummed because he wants to talk **** about the Prius, but can't because the debate is so horribly one sided?
**** it...
I have come to the conclusion that, a Prius is not much different then a Vespa. you get awesome fuel economy if you are driving around in the city. But, once you get on the freeway (Vespa is too slow for freeway travel) the Prius becomes a rather inefficient car. With a Prius at highway speeds, you are lucky to get more than 23MPG where as a WRX can easily get 25+ at highway speeds.
Source: My mom owns a Prius.
Furthermore, a Prius goes through tires like no tomorrow. My mom is about to get her 5th set at just a little over 100,000 miles.

The cars that you are referring to, like a CRX, or something, are insanely fuel efficient, but not even comparable to a prius in terms of creature comforts, capacity, or pickup.
dont worry.... next time i come around to seeing his car at work.. i'll take care of that missing i-club sticker.
=P
and oh yes.. i do approve of the sticker. if i could find a better looking one i'd rock one too. (because as you know.. every sticker i sport on my car is +5 whp)

shamefully, i dont care how much damage the prius does to the environment.
i have always been a fan of diesel and going catless.
if i had to do a TON of city driving, i would get a prius or a civic but i dont have to so own a wrx.

Turbo diesels FTW!
My buddy has a 6mt Jetta TDI wagon and regularly gets 40+ mpg on the freeway. IIRC, he's averaging around 38 mpg.
