Before you head over to ATP, make certain that fluid levels are what they should be (coolant, engine oil, etc.).

BTW heres the STi dyno from Vishnus site, My STi did the exact thing A/F on ATPs dyno, dumps right between 2700-3200 right off the chart. First thought was it was pinging and dumping fuel but Dan Godspeed says our ECU wont add fuel when it pings(unlike the EVO) just pull timing. Does your go rich that quick?
CAI dont' do much more than make your tuning more difficult later on down the line, and make it so you can hear the turbo and BOV better...
Keep the stock box, and get a nice filter...
