"They" being your other personality? If it is that's cool, I'm just curious about the whole story

I brought them with me out to visit my girlfriend at her place, and I wasnt really talking to them (they didnt make an effort to talk to us) so they went out to have a cigarette, but they were in the locked car. I mistook them giving us alone time for being impatiant a-holes and destroying my paint.

They came back in after about 10 min and handed me the keys. It was raining and the scratches were on the passenger side and the hood so i didnt notice them when we got back in.

Are you freaking serious.

So you're saying you gave this guy your keys. He was alone with you car and your keys. You went out there to leave and your paint was jacked.

I'm sorry dude but if that was me....I would have whooped that guys ***. That's no lie. Give that piece of **** one chance to fess up and pay your deductible...it's a lot cheaper to come up with $500 than it is to go to jail and have to pay for a complete new paint job...about $4000.

ONE CHANCE. if you can't get proof it's time to kick someone's ***.

Time for an update:
I did the police report last night (apparently its against the law to sit infront of your house in your car...) and he didnt really look at the damage, just the hood. I got the report number and such from him and I told him I would call if I found out who did it. He said he was going to talk to the insurance for me (my parents said hes not gonna do it, dont know why he said he would), but didnt get any of that info.
Today I found out from two seperate sources the name of the guy that did it. Apparently it didnt happen outside the house like I first suspected, but outside the In and Out in Brentwood. I had my keys then, so I dont know what he used. Gonna call sherriff dude later tonite and update him with the name and address. Does the insurance decide to go after him (his mother because he's under 18) for tha damages? I still have to check my policy to see what it says about it.

I doubt the cops can do much without proof.

The more pressing issue is what kind of people are you hanging out with? If you actually suspected one of your friends, it's probably time to hang out in a new crowd.

Ohhhhh man, I dunno what to say.........Im speachless..........damn.........Im really sorry to hear that.......time for new "friends" I guess......and a good *** whoopin' to the guy that did it.

So what "sources" told you about the person that did it? Did he go brag about it to some people that told you about it? or was it a "he said, she said" type situation? I'm really curious now

in anycase, I hope he/they get what they deserve.....and you get your ride fixed up all perty again.....just make sure that whatever they used to scratch the paint, didnt also leave a nice dent behind too, cuz that will significantly effect how much the repair will cost.

best of luck

Sounded like he was bragging when he told one friend and then admitted it when my other friend asked him. Doesnt look like theres dents, just bare metal showing =( I'm probably gonna go get an estimate done today.

Just got back from the body shop, estimate is $1960.91. I gota wait untill after 10 to call the sherriff back. Is two peoples testimony enough for a conviction? I checked out the In and Out last night, I didnt see that any cameras covered where I was parked.
