Angry My Car is Going CRAZY -please help asap-

A few hours after the rain started falling on Wednesday, my 01rs started to act wierd every now and then. When I came to a stop I was on my cell phone and it vibrated at the same moment all the electronics in my car shut on and off. It did it all syncronized three times and then did it again tonight a few times, but I wasn't on the phone and it didn't vibrate.

The stereo shuts off, the lights all flash on then off inside, the doors look then unluck, and most annoying of all the factory alarm cherps. It's really annoying, because I am stopped in traffic at a light in my car and it starts to act all retarded.

PLEASE HELP ME FIND OUT WHAT IT IS QUICK! I called LIC and asked if they knew what it could be and they didn't know. Someone else said it could be related to my stereo system. Will Circuit City be able to figure it out(they installed all my stuff)? All I have is a 10'' sub with an amp and 4 6'' speakers. Should I get a grounding kit? Should I disconnect the amp and sub?

Please give me advice, I want to fix in tomarrow because I have the whole day off.

sounds like you have some lose wires man, most likely you have a possitive cable somewhere grounding out.

Take out your sub and amp, triple check your wiring and make sure that the possitive is not touch the hood of your car or anything that is grounded.

I would be happy to have a look at it for you if you can swing by the shop (Gruppe-S) only problem is I am leaving here in about 20 mins and wont be back until Monday, if you want you can come to Infineon Raceway over the weekend and check out the racing and I'd be happy to have a look over it there for you.

Could it be just water under the hood messing with the battery or some connections? Just trying to link rain to what's happening?

double check, make sure that the battery is fully charged. Only reason is, my friends GSX had a ghost in the electrical system, it was weird as hell, funky electrical problems, hesitation under boost... turned out that the alternator was intermittent and the battery was dying. Easy to check anyway!

Thanks for the offer, I would love to go to the race but I have work all weekend and school until Friday. If I am still having the problem I will definately give you a call.

thats what I was thinking because it only started doing it after it rained... that very first day of rain. I popped the hood, because I have a carbon fiber hood and didn't want to put the scoop guard on from my stock hood, and expected to find water, but I didn't find anything except a drop or two, but I am talking so small they couldn't have done anything but evaporated on my intake, leaving a few waterspots...
