Well, we discussed in an earlier thread about applying Crystal Guard over the top of an already shiny Zaino Bros. polish job. Here are the details:
My Civic is silver, and 3 weeks old tonight. I have it fully Zaino'd with 3 coats of Z-5 on for finish. Impecable finish. Beautiful!
Tonight, I washed the car with Meguire's "Gold Class" and applied the Crystal Guard Quick while she was sopping wet. I took a micro fiber towel and spread it around as the directions state. I was very methodic in my application. I wanted it perfect. I then rinsed the car, and padded (Not toweled, and not wiped) it dry with an "Absorber" dry towel from Kragen. The directions recomend a synthetic Chamois, but I figured that they are very similar.
I then took the same micro fiber towel and ***lightly*** buffed the still cool surface.
The outcome was just amazing. It isn't even supposed to look so good right away, but I asure you that it does. My wife was "wOwEd" at the appearance of her new pimp ride.
The Crystal Guard takes 48 hours to fully cure, or "cement" as the vendor likes to call it. It is supposed to achieve its maximum gloss after the above listed duration.
On monday, I will wash and dry the car, and post pics. I will post pics in the morning of the car after 12 hours...
The conclusion:
BUY THIS STUFF! It is really good.
Take care,
Andy

Oh, and the reason that I am using the HoNdUh--- is because my Subaru's paint is really poor. I used Crystal Guard on it, and it is shiny as hell, but you can still see my imperfections under the amazing gloss.
I am going to have a full detail done to it over at Custom Exotica after I get the dings poped out, and the JUN bumper painted and installed.
With the Civic, I am/was able to achieve an unbiased baseline/reference for us to pass our judgement. Sorry if I am so excited about this product, but I am really sold...
Later...and a good weekend to all!

Here are the results after about 14 hours:

the car is really shiny. I am going to put another layer on next weekend.
The pictures speak for themselves.
