Wow... I'm sorry to hear that man. Your families in my families thoughts and prayers. My work is seasonal so as soon as it starts up in a week or two I'll at least match Cali too. Be strong for your brother!

Thank you so much guys!! I am so grateful for your generosity.

Those Subaru "Love" commercials make so much more sense to me now.

I get all emotional when I hear about misfortunes like this...

If I wasn't unemployed and living off food stamps I would chip in....

So sorry I'm a worthless piece of poo....

My heart goes out to you and your family!

Very sorry to hear about your brother and I hope he will pull through. When I got sick years ago, I was in the same predicament. Check this out http://www.mrmib.ca.gov/mrmib/mrmip.shtml to see if they have programs like this in the state hes in.

While it might not help him currently, if you fill out the application there is usually a 6month wait and then guaranteed insurance forced by the state. It might help ease his bills later on down the line.

Thanks for the heads up wrxBRAH, we've been working on getting him on emergency medicaid and everything else we possibly can.

I'll check and see if there is anything similar in New York.

Thank you so much!

Quick update, by some miracle we have already raised over $12,000 in just over 8 hours. We are pushing towards the next goal of $25,000.

Thank you so much to those who have contributed. I don't know many of you personally, but I am truly indebted to you. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.

Matt
