I was running late and missed the UCKK caravan. Made it to D&B in time to see all the subarus before the popo broke things up. The drive up to the park was nice. No one was driving crazy so it was just a nice cruise before we ended up in the long line to get into the park.
Overall... a very well organized event. Next time I'll try and get more of SCIC to make it up for the meet.

As far as my experience this year:
This was my 4th Hammy. My first in the 98 OBS. I had an 02 WRX wagon for the previous ones. I was on a tight schedule so I couldn't go to the top this year. But I was content with the short twisty from Alum Rock to the park. Nice seeing the old crew and the new crew. The event gets bigger every year.

it was my first time and i had a lot of fun driving around with everyone, and looking at everyone's cars. My friends and i came up to the bay area from fresno just for the meet and i'm glad we did it. Everything went well except my friend broke his tranny on the way here and we had to wait till the morning to get a trailer, so we didn't have any sleep before the meet.

Next time say whats up! That way I'll recognize you the next time around...
Yeah, we'll definetly hook up next time. I saw a group in front of my car when I left, but I didnt know that you were in there. Maybe I'll catch you at a meet down here in SoCal.

As much as I'd like to...
...I can't quite incorporate that road into the Northern California rally, Tiger.
Just in case you're part of the ITN rally crew that comes up to compete against the Northern Cali crews.
Are you going to join up in that??
Seeing your car made me miss SoCal...for a second. Then I came to my senses, and realize we have a lot more roads up here that make Hammy look easy!!

I enjoyed my first time at Mt. Hammy. I ended up cooking most of the day, but I got to feel that good stock suspension on the 06 TR. Fun roads, great people, great cars, good food, wet women, only thing wrong was the heat, but still not to bad. I hope there is another one next year.
