Mt Hamilton experiences?
My first Hammy meet, and I thought I was going to go to Jail before it even got started!!!! Thought my car was going to get towed also.
When everyone was leaving D&B, I was going to wait it out and go after most had cleared, so I got out of my car and stood on the cement light thing, took a few pics when I heard the siren, I thought the officer was going after somebody for doing something stupid or something.
Well, he headed straight for ME and asked in a stern voice to show him ID and registration the whole 9 yards!!
Then he told me to pop the hood, Since my car is mostly stock except for some suspension stuff, it was all good.
He just told me that if people are told to clear out, they should clear out instead of taking pics of vids or what not, I completely understand where he was coming from and apologized.
He was cool about it and just sent me on my way with NO ticket or anything, I was very relieved!!!

I had a great time driving up there, the food was great, it was nice to hang out and get to know some of you guys a little better, and being able to see that many Subies all in one place was awesome!
If it wasn't for the SRIC peer pressure last night I would've still been home playing video games or something.

it was my first time as well as others. both me and my girlfriend enjoyed the day. The food was tasty the fact that all three parking lots got full impresed the hell out of me. The caravan up there was quite enjoyable. I'm sure for next year there's a way to clear things with the mall before hand so the I-club pic goes as hoped.
to all how put this thing together thanks, and see ya next time.
p.s what's the story about the cliffhanger?

carnut.....
just so you know, that officer couldn't have done ****.
There is no way for him to prove you were not a patron of the mall. You were not loitering. There is not a no picture policy at the mall. If there is, it isn't posted so it can NOT be enforced. I would have loved for him to pull that **** with me.
They had to pick someone to flash their small dick at. Make an example of...you just happened to be the easiest target since you were out of the car.
Next year....we need to set the time up with the mall and get permission...or meet somewhere else. UCKK or somewhere else that would be cool with us. Getting permision is the biggest deal to some of these people. They need to feel power....if you ask for permission you get what you need and so do they...if you don't then they feel like you haven't taken power and control out of their hands.
we did nothing wrong. the mall wasn't openned. we went in when it was open. the stores where not open. many of us bought sodas, mcd's starbucks...patrons of the mall.
If we do this again next year they can deal with me. I have no problems with that.

Again, it was a good meet and got to see some different things done with the WRX and tire wheel combinations.
this was my first mt. hammi meet as well. Over all it was a great time, I got to D&B at like 1035, and shortly there after the police rolled up and everyone started to roll out. I then some how became the leader of a caravan...and I had no idea where to go...good thing a black wrx took the lead
I was supposed to go with 3 other people, but they ended up not making it on time so I was solo with my girl. hahaa
I think she talked to more people than I did (she was the tiny asian girl with the teal tank top and khaki skirt)
either way, im looking forward to next year

My first Mt. Hammy meet also. I had a great time, and I'll try and make it again next year. I didnt know anyone, and hung out with my lady most of the time, but we were able to meet a few cool people.
I was running late and missed the UCKK caravan. Made it to D&B in time to see all the subarus before the popo broke things up. The drive up to the park was nice. No one was driving crazy so it was just a nice cruise before we ended up in the long line to get into the park.
Overall... a very well organized event. Next time I'll try and get more of SCIC to make it up for the meet.

pretty cool experience i'd say. i got pulled over right before the start of mt. hamilton road from alum rock. i knew i was getting pulled over. i saw the cop hiding while i was waiting at a stop light. I went 3mph below speed limit just in case, and as soon as I passed him, he turned on his lights and got me.
mostly he just questioned me why he just saw 50 subarus go by and if we were racing etc...but i didn't get a ticket.
next year definitely bringing a lawn chair or something.
