Talking Mt Hamilton experiences?

well personally for me this was my first visit to mt hamilton and my first time owning a subaru and it was really great to meet a bunch of awesome and friendly people it was a blast, tons of really cute girls but i was too afraid to talk to some of 'em lol, kinda feel bad for the guy that wrecked his silver wrx, i hope he's okay but i know he's alive at least...so everyone else please post your expirience whether its your first time or a seasoned veteran! i will be going next year too!

I had a good time as always. Hot as hell as always and now, at the end of Mt. Hamilton day, I'm tired as I was last year

It was my first time as well, was a great experience and can't wait till next year. Did see where the guy went off the side, was a real big drop, it was good to see he was okay though and all the people helping him....that drive up to the top was a blast....

this was my second year, much better for me this year since I knew people.

This time last year I was much less social, thanks to owning my WRX I have met a ton of people, made some really good new friends, and its been one hell of a year! Looking forward to next year already!

On the note about the wreck, I left early because I didn't want to feel the pressure of not driving fast enough down Hamilton road and holding up traffic for fellow subys with better driving skills than me. ( I don't think I ever got it into 4th gear) haha. I would have felt like I was holding up traffic, so I wussed out to avoid getting into that situation. Again, it was a good meet and got to see some different things done with the WRX and tire wheel combinations.

This was my first year going up to Mt. Hami. The drive up was awesome. However, I missed the park the first time because I turned back down and left the group to get gas when we were waiting to get into the park. when i returned i never saw that park entrance again and proceeded to drive another 10 miles up to the observatory and about 5 miles down the other way. good thing i saw another wrx and followed him back to the park. The drive up was awesome though. I can honestly say i shaved about 15-20% off my tires today lol. can you say TWISTYS???

Anyways what happened to the silver wrx? When I was leaving the area at around 3pm or so I saw an ambulance, several cop cars, and a fire truck rocketing up mt. hami. was it for the same incident?

My first time out to Mt. Hammy and I'm looking forward to next year! I took a friend and we ate real quick and headed to the top of the moutain before the caravans started making their way up. I heard someone wrecked and some of the posts confirmed. Hope that person was uninjured.

I saw a couple familiar faces, talked to vendors, drooled over cars

Going down I had an NSX tailing me. He was impressed with number of subies that came out.

Good times,
Ryan

i did feel that pressure as well bill...but i said screw it im still going to drive fairly slow on the twisties...im not risking my life just because someone wants to get out of the mountains faster so i mainly hit 2nd/3rd gear all the way down lol
