cool. you must be good man. I have played for a long time but I never get to play. I mean I'm stoked if I get 2/3 rounds in a month. I usually shoot between 85-95. One of those guys that can hit great shots but isn't consistant enough. I get hurt cause I don't play a lot so my putting isn't that good and I don't use a driver so I loose a couple strokes that way. My freeking driver and 3 wood were in my buddies trunk when he rolled his car. I haven't replaced them. I plan to get a nicer set of irons first. mine are all wrong for me. They are custom fit but they just don't fit right. knock offs and the guy set me up with the wrong shafts for my swing speed. I played with my little brothers clubs...same clubs different shaft...I was murdering the ball. hitting like 225-240yard 4 irons all day. (lost a lot of my power with shoulder injury but I still do alright sometimes.haaaa)

so man..we should set up a BAIC golf tourny or at least a day to go play a round.

my family are owners at a golf club up in arnold so I'm hoping to get in a few days up there this summer. I have to go paint the dang house so I'll probably play every day I am up there.

tk5dan...I can understand where you're coming from. When me and my bro were in high school and when I first got back from college we'd go to punk shows and what not and we'd drive the folks cars. We'd hide the cars and walk up cause we didn't want people giving us **** for being yuppie wannabe punks or anything like that. It gets old. I think that is part of the reason my brother is the way he is now. He knows he's got the money and likes nice things but he's all about the old....history. Old music stuff. He dresses like a damn bum. stuff like that.

yea im down for an i-club golf day. I talked to ryan (wrx ish) and eric (salty/sisqock) about it awhile back and they wanted to play. haha also new clubs do help alot. I played on some knock off set for awhile and they were WAY too short for me. Last summer i got a new set (haha this really makes my point in my post, but yes my parents bought me the set) Just having clubs that fit you right makes your consistency alot better.

hey dan i think what verc was triyng to say was he actually supports the whole idea of kids getting nice cars and stuff..that people should use their advantages like parents being well off..so they dont have to worry about getting a job, and just studying. u know little things like that really matters, like..having a car..u get a lot more done and it saves time. but if my parents gave me a wrx..as long as im not showing it off and thinking im better than other people, whats wrong with tthat. nothing, life isnt fair..and everyone knows that already, and if they dont, well..life ISNT fair, so just make the best of ur situation..thats all u can do.

oh and the golf thing..golf is kinda...for old epople dont u think? its all about tennis! who plays tennis?

Also, I dont have to prove **** to anyone, I am 27 and am well established in my career and am living the kind of life I want to live, so .....and I dont say what I say, because I am hoping for a response from anyone, esp. a smart *** response from someone that says to "MILK YOUR PARENTS." The whole <rant> thing.....well, if that puts your panties in a bunch...then boohoo for you....but life doesn't get any easier, so get used to it.

ok, I'm done.

Goddamnit, go back to work. I am. argue. later. more.pressing. things. to. attend. to. in. real. life. right. now.

Fine my point was, by the way, only that I'm sick of kids getting defensive about being lucky. IF they are lucky, good for them, no need to prove to the world that they can earn their own way through life.

Obviously I know everyone who goes to ANY PUBLIC SCHOOL is not handed a nice car wherever they live. DUH. I bet there are poor people who go to Beverly Hills High or something because they just happen to be in the area. Obviously. MSJ just happens to have picked up a bunch of rich people in the last few decades, of course there are people who just happen to own a house there and don't really give a rat's **** about money or where their kids go to school. Can you say nitpicking?

Yeah, whatever about the pissing me off thing, I don't see my typing in these starred-in explitives. I ain't worred about me, I'm worried about you taking this personally. I'll catch you later and we'll talk about stocks or whatever jaded people talk about.

By the way, of course I don't have rich parents, but if any of YOU are lucky to have rich parents and you don't milk them, you are just stupid. Stupid! It's like being lucky enough to go to Harvard and then not taking advantage of their alumni connections when you graduate. Yeah, that's probably a bad analogy cause I guess some of you out there would be ashamed to go to Harvard too cause you'd be thinking "damn there are so many guys my age who are working so hard right now, I should do that too so I can hang out with them and they'll accept me cause I work hard like they do, yeah!" You ever watch Good Will Hunting, when Matt Damon doesn't want to look 'better' than the rest of his construction worker friends and Ben Affleck tells him he should take advantage of his gift, because anyone of Matt Damon's friends would give anything to be as lucky as he was?

Because there are many members of this subaru community who are barely making ends meet to afford their dream car, many of the younger, minor aged members of i-club seem like they feel ashamed of their own lucky position. Maybe we are in part to blame when we flame every 16-year old "ricer" which is just uneducated about this very complicated stuff called the automotive sciences.

yea i dont enjoy watching golf that much, well i just dont like watching any sport really. I really enjoy playing golf though. I was into tennis when i was younger but stopped playing and took baseball more serious. Some of my friends play and are really good, im sure you've heard of the MSJ tennis team. They did really well this year and placed 1st in NCS

watching golf and playing golf is two totally different games. It's like watching baseball, unless it's like one of those 15 run games it's just not fun to watch on tv. Same with Golf. I'll flip it on a few minutes here and there to see how people are doing but that's about it.

But playing...playing golf is fun as hell. You get some guys together. Talk some trash. Drink some beer. And drive around in carts for 4 hours. As long as you don't take it mad serious then it's really fun. I mean I'm competitive so some times I get pissed. Shoot my brother broke his 3 iron about a month ago...haaa.

and on the not so high profile courses or on days where it's not to crowded you can play games like if you duff one and it doesn't go past the ladies T you have to run to your ball with your pants around your ankles..or slam a beer.
