If you guys have to get a mp3 player would you guys get a Microsoft Zune or an Ipod? I have a D2 in my car and want to watch videos, is it true that it is easily to put videos on the zune?

I have a 150 dollar Apple Store gift card for sale. I believe 150 will get you a 4GB Nano (The newest ones). See my thread https://www.i-club.com/forums/norcal-classifieds-96/%24150-apple-store-gift-card-%2450-i-tunes-176423/

I have a zune and ipod....mini. As for video um I've tried both the zune and ipod video. They are almost the same thing. It takes a long time for videos to enter both players. Both of them still have to "convert" and resize the videos and that process can take a while.
Ipod would be the better choice since there more support and help and its been around the block longer. I just got my zune because it was cheaper then the video and my ipod was broken. That and it had wifi (....under-developed).
Though after using the zune man I wish the zune had a wheel. Skips through video and music ALOT faster.

currenlty i have a creative zen but i think my next mp3 player will be a sandisk sansa. inexpensive, simple, and good reviews. honestly i don't think i would ever buy an ipod. itunes is great software but i don't like the fact that i am forced to use it to add songs. i just want to drag and drop. plus i don't like the price fixing. if a store wants to blow them out, they can't b/c apple controls the pricing. no zune for me either. i saw one the other day and it looked rather flimsy (maybe b/c it was the dispaly model?)
If you're investing a few dollars on something you see as important, then I'd invest a few bucks more to get protection for your device. Ipod IMO is king just because of all the support it has and most likely all decks will probably have an easy connection with an iPod since that is the leading socket of MP3's to put into your car.

its really nice i love the interface and the feel of it. you don't feel like its gonna break if you drop it either.. unlike something like the ipod, or ipod touch.
plus you can buy an expansion microsd for it to store more. you can pick up a 6gb micro sd for about 80 bucks.

Don't know what iPods you've messed with, but none of mine ever felt like they would break or cheap in any manner.
The new nano it the shiznit by the way. But if you want to save money, the Zune is a great deal too.
