A good friend of mine ran me through this road on Friday in his very-quick 1.8T GTI. Another awesome road in North. Calif.

From the Gualala area at Highway 1 over the coastal mountains and into the Anderson Valley town of Boonville.

Some portions are one lane, and much of the eastern half of the road in downhill (some up to 16% ). Some of it is a little rough, but easily conquered in a WRX.

And as a reward, stop for a cold Anderson Valley beer in Boonville.

 

Been there, done that. It starts closer to Point Arena. Just north of it. A couple of months ago, we had a scooby run up that way. Check for the Sonoma/northbay group so you can join in next time.

I live on mountain view. It is my road. Dont be suprised if I tofu drift you off the road at 4 am.

 

i am from boonville that road was my playground when i was a teenager
who are you chewyguru you live on the coast side or are you in AV, i went t AV high and my family still lives there
