Mothers Powerball, I am now a believer!

These forged monoblock Boyd's were on the '87 Suburban when I bought it about a month ago. The were dull and hazy and had oxidization starting and some pitting. They are worth more than the whole vehicle so I thought I would clean them up some. I knew they had a chance at looking better but I had no idea it would be this nice!

First pics are kinda bad as I didn't think to do b4 and after pics and these were just cropped from the only pics I had of it.

Before

After

I also did Ice Liquid Claybar and Ice Liquid Wax on it and it actually brought back reflection to the paint surface when it was absolutely dull before.

You just hook the Powerball up to a high powered drill and go to town. I did have to keep cleaning the ball with hot soapy water every so often as it would suck all the grime and dirt into it and mix with the polish and make it gummy. So after each wheel I just cleaned it in the sink.

I am actually going to do another pass on each wheel as it will still get a little better. I was just tired last night and it was getting dark.

Will the ball clean non-chrome wheels too - i.e. I have real dirty BBS?

Oh yeah! tired one front BBS last night (used a dif wheel cleaner than the chrome polish). Takes the dirt and brake dust off no prob. Those black pits got real clean in the 5 minutes I tried it out. When I get back from my trip this weekend I can do the BBS's and post. But this thing is easy to use and I love how it gets in small spots.

btw it's VERY durable. I gave it a very good thrashing and not once piece of it broke.

btw guys there was 2 sizes, I got the small one so I could use it on my BBS's also. I just thought it would fit better between the spokes and in the center of the rim.

i am aware of that thread, I even posted in it. I doubt this sponge ball will damage the IC at all. A little care should be used but I am sure it would be no issue.
