Do you guys know how many people in this country have medical cannabis cards? Do you have any idea how many of those people own guns? Do you have any idea how much it would cost and how many resources we'd have to employ in order to enforce that law? This sort of reminds me of what happened with Napster and clear channel suing as many people as they could as a scare tactic.
From what I understand if you go out and buy a gun today, you're asked if you use marijuana or if you have a medical cannabis card... If you do and you answer no, then you broke the law.
However, this is just a really big scare tactic put on by the ATF to stop the spread of medical dispensaries across the country. 2012 elections are coming up and there are going to be a ton of ballots for medical jane, this is the ATF's way of trying to scare Americans into submission.
**** the ATF.
The same government that is dedicating a ton of man hours to searching out and seizing the few skylines in country just because they never passed federal safety inspections. It would be much easier to find those with guns and pot cards than it would be to find those with (likely) unregistered cars.
No resources most of the sheep will just follow what hey are told.
Heard what? About the ATF sending letters/coming to people's houses to make sure they don't have a medical card and guns?
