Haha that sucks for your friends cars, some bad luck! I have seen your friend with the black wrx. He doesn't come out much does he? I've only seen him like once and I am out there almost every friday. I've never really talked to any of those other wrx's cuz they don't seem to friendly to me, lol.
I didn't get to see the crazy police helicopter last friday but I heard about it. T
he CRX from street rage is actually a really cool guy. He only has a b16 but he's got like every bolt on you can get. He proly knew he would get ****ed up by the black wrx so thats why he didn't race him. I will be out on Friday. Hopefully you will be there. I don't street race or anything, my bf is in Enigma so I hang out with all the guys. My car is basically all show since it is an auto. and I am trying not to void the warranty. Anyways hopefully I will see you out there sometime.

So the friday night thing is by walmart??which side and what time?? Maybe if i'm around there (live in sf but i go to salinas once in a while)..How many subes are there in salinas(RS & WRX) it seems like a lot especially the way endless is talking about all his buddies with subes

 

There are tons of WRXs....not all are involved in Subie pride, but the Cypress Coast Subaru dealer sells more WRXs than the LA dealerships....dont ask me, the manager was telling me thats why they always have so many, and why they have like 13 STi's right now.

Ryan (Silver 02 WRX, from WAR, hes brokin his dog box 3 or 4 times already, broken tranny 7 times and counting, daddy is very rich),
Ivan (WRB 02 WRX auto, he and his buddy Brian own Hypnotic Performance, cool shop, fairly small still, but nice none the less, www.hypnoticperformance.com, they are working on the site constantly),

there is another guy with a silver 00 or 01 RS but i dont know him and hardly see him,
and there is a gal with a SRP 00 RS, but again, dont know her and havent ever spoken to her,

There are more, some in Monterey, some in Marina, Seaside, Carmel....but they arent exactly into the same things and could probably care less which turbo back gives the most HP.

HAHA, i think its kinda funny that u say we never really look that friendly...i think the same about most of the other people out there. Everyone that im usually with is cool, dont care what u drive as long as u like it and have fun with it, but thats not to say we dont have our favorites . I may or may not be there this friday...my mom has a kimo treatment up here in Marin, but it might work out, if it does, ill look for u SuzWRX(Suzan or Sue is it?) I appologize if im wrong.

The reason the CRX didnt race my friend is because he was being hit up by someone else, so he said wait wait, ull get ur turn to lose....cocky sob would lose sooo badly if he ever steps up cuz i dont think hes hitting 12s with no turbo/SC/nitrous, but thats if he doenst have nitrous. Damn near every honda has nitrous down there. If hes cool, alright i guess he could be, im just going off of what we've experienced, and actually from almost everyone in streed rage...Mary, the girl with the white RSX non Type S is my friends sister, so yeah.....I dont really give a rats *** about street racing anymore...unless they wanna go out to Agjahitto Rd or Mt Madonna and have a road race...hehe:banana:

The meeting place is in the parking lot between Walmart and Starbucks and Wendys, more towards the Wendys side...you wouldnt be able to miss it. If and when u come down, let me know, If i am there, i would love to introduce u to whoever is out.

wrx's in salinas are all coming out huh when's this drive gonna be aince i might be free to roll also with some wrx guys here in santa cruz. ive been to walmart in salinas a few times with some srt guys also that i knew who lives there but yeah salinas does get flooded with cops sometimes.even got hasslled there before by them.

 

Yeah, and its just gotten worse...we are wracking our brains to think of another place we can meet up other than Walmart, as the cops always show up there with patty wagons and now a damn helicoptor. It would be sweet to see a group a u guys from SC/Aptos come down, there has never really been a stron Subie presence there, and the ones i listed are not always out.

 

Wow I didn't even know there were that many subies in Salinas. I see different ones all the time, some sti's, some wrx's but only know of the few that come out to Walmart on occasions. I think that it would be really cool if we could start a Subie club or something in Salinas. Like have a rally sometime where everyone brings their subies out, because there are so many out there now.
Definately if you can come this Friday that would be cool. I would love to meet some other subie enthusiates besides myself. By the way my name is Suzanne.
That guy with the CRX is pretty cocky i have heard. That black WRX would totally **** him up. He is actually all engine too, no nos or anything. I mean i do give him props cuz that car is fast and took a stock wrx.
Anyone else near Salinas come by Friday nights to Walmart parking lot and look for some subies. I am in the WRB WRX with subzeros usually hanging out with team enigma.

I got my 04 wagon from cypress too and my brother got hi 03 srp sedan there too...(his car is rarely used only got like 4000 miles on it his car is like 16 months older than mine but i got 11500 miles on mine already ) dayum 13 sti's my brother wanted to trade his 03 for an sti but it's still on hold.


this is my brother's other car maybe youv'e seen it around and it's for sale....Maybe any of you salinas crew know anyone interested on this car ...just pm me if somebody's interested

 

Lol, the only reason he beat Preston is exactly that, its Preston...he cant launch, cant shift, and basically that car is going to waste on him. And hes talking about getting an STi. Ill bet if I or Jason were driving the stock WRX, we could at least make it very very very very close. We were pretty much the first in Salinas, with Ryan, to have Subies and actually race em, as far as a I know anyway, I never saw any others.

The CRX should race that loud *** Celica...the guy doesnt seem to know how to drive very well, at least in any of the races ive seen him run, but he also took Prestons WRX. that Celica has crazy top end. I think he has almost every bolt on possible, and no nitrous either.

There are also, i believe, 3 STi's in Salinas, all older fellows who dont "race" them, but there is a black on, a blue one, and i think silver. Dave whom i mentioned before lives in Monterey but comes over more often now....

 

Ive actually seen ur bro's hatch quite a bit...does he live right by Chevron on S Main?? I always see a green hatch parked there.

Are you sure that celica doesn't have nos? Because I heard he does. My boyfriend raced that celica in his stock *** d15 hatch and stayed up with him pretty good and then raced him in my wrx and after the celica hit 2nd he squeezed. I know he has a lot on that car but not enough to barely smoke a hatch and then smoke me by like 2 or 3 car lengths. I have seen the other sti's but never seen them out at walmart or anything.
We need to get a group started for sure. That would be really cool.

I saw one (i guess) member of the W.A.R. crew (is it that wreckless auto racing ) white older model eclipse with the BOV..it was around 9am sunday by amerigas on rossi and main street,,

 

Yeah, WAR also has a turbo MR2 widebody, but I havent seen him in a long time. Last time i saw him, he was boosting 22PSI. Also there is that ugly *** 1st gen Eclipse with the purple ghost flames...that guy is really a fool, he knows nothing about his car, he bought it that way and hasnt changed a thing. He didnt know what the dual stage boostcontroller on the car was much less how to use it. My buddy Rudy, the maroon Eclipse Sypder with the Bomex kit, well, he had the Bomex until, yeah, road signs are harsh on cars, anyway, he is a DSM freak, knows absolutely EVERYTHING there is to know about the 4G63 egine, anyway he saw this guy with the purple flames and went to talk to him about his car...that was hilarious. All the guy did was try and say his turbo was a 20G and rev it so his HKS BOV went off....his turbo is actually barely a 16G and Rudy called him on it, great laughs.

The celica might have nitrous, i dont know...all i know is ive heard hes got crazy top end ( it does have a 6 speed ) and i know he cant drive for ****...every race ive seen him run, hes hit his rev limiter in 1st for like a full second, and sometimes he hits it again from 2md to 3rd.

 

So maybe that's the one i saw (older eclipse) but i guess i did not notice the purple flames
