Then you are already right near the start- how late are you planning to be at the track?
Just duck out a little early, first car out on the rally is 5:01PM
OK so you might miss the finish of the Grand Am race, but you could see a full hour of that and still have plenty of time to plan the route and do the rally, consider it you don't get many chances for FREE rallies...

Had an awesome time at the rallyx this weekend. I recommend the next one.. we got in 6, 2-minute runs each on the expanded course. Saw Lee and a lot of old faces, too. I spread the word of the monte.
Videos: 999 is Ansel, 0 is Lee http://gallery.mac.com/drtofu
See you this Sat for the monte!

Or maybe this?

Or this?!

Check out the CALENDAR page on The Rallye Club website:
http://www.therallyeclub.org/
I start with these 3 calendars, subtract what I know I won't attend and then add in other events like the local RallyX, Greg's Monte and Redwood Rendezvous etc.

Exactly Jane, but consolidated. It'd be great for us to show people as a tool to get more people interested. It'd be great to just check one calendar for all bay area rally/driving events related to our little forum.
But Yeah, this is going to be a super fun event!

The problem is that they get too crowded if everything goes in, yet its really hard for all of the different rally groups to keep each other informed of their calendars.
Having it broken down to local and regional is about the best anyone can do but I also know a lot of events don't make it on that calendar.
I also asked one of the staff here if we might be able to set up some forum-specific calendars with a few people given access to maintain them.
But seriously- do we have any competitors coming out for this one?
its just a beautiful tour of scenic backroads... nothing to be afraid of here!

Im not going to see the race. I worked in the grand am series for a few years, and Im going to see all of my friends. My Suby isnt ready to hit the streets quite yet anyway, I would have to take my little beater AE86. You guys have fun and hopefully it wont be too long before there is another one of these
I've sent a note to a alfa club guy.. since it's open to all car types, we should spread the word far and wide.
